The Hunter Transmission Project (HTP) is a critical 110-kilometer, 500 kV transmission line connecting Bayswater and Eraring in NSW’s Hunter region. This initiative aims to close the northern loop of the state’s existing transmission network, enhancing energy infrastructure across three key sections: HTP North (Bayswater to Broke), HTP Central (Pokolbin to Corrabare), and HTP South (Olney to Eraring).

Service provided

Seed Engineering provided comprehensive EOI management services to a construction consortium bidding to this project. Our team’s expertise in infrastructure projects was instrumental in developing a compelling and competitive bid.

Project outcome

The consortium secured the contract to design and construct the HTP, set for completion by December 2028. This project will strengthen NSW’s power grid, facilitate renewable energy integration and support the state’s energy transition, playing a crucial role in Australia’s future energy landscape.

PSP value added

Our PSP methodology ensured a balanced approach to the bid process, optimising team performance while addressing the project’s complex requirements. This strategy not only contributed to winning the contract, but also lays the groundwork for efficient project execution, supporting the timely delivery of this transformative infrastructure.
